The pig house may not be the most spacey pleasant place for thoughts about happiness, but there's certain repetition to a pigs life logic of eat, sleep, eat, that�s shining with melancholy and idleness. A Happy pig is an alive pig, and that's the simplicity underneath the pile of mud with pig footprints in it, leading to the freezer, and eventually a frying pan or the oven (depends on how you like your food prepared). This track strives to portrait just that, no unnecessary steps in leading this track where it doesn't belong, just happy pig feet in the air, while the body rolls in dirt and the mind thinks happy thoughts ! Regressive in his approach, D LINER combines driving and striving percussions over mellow bubbly synthesizer lines and ever-ongoing grooves. The surprising yet comforting edge of regressive sound unavoidably brings the name of VITAMIN K's first album 'ESSENTIAL VITAMINS' to play, where the Mack Daddy of regressive resourcefully combined trance notes, techno energy and house feeling and portrayed a new aesthetics of sound design and club music.
KOTFLUGEL continues on a subtle hymn note. More bleeps than HAPPY PIGs, a pumping groove racing to catch a breath of fresh wah-wah synth. Space, exploration, discovery, come to mind, happiness above all. Hey, why don't we all be happy ? A question we tend to ask daily and deliberately whenever we think of freedom, food and another verb starting with F. Oh boy, we're hungry whenever we think of the three, and the sliced synths and glittering melody  of KOTFLUGEL  cooks up on the dance floor, where we dance, eat, sleep, dance, eat, sleep....

ABOUT ARTISTS

D Liner / C Photon is a one-man project from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before Andrej Imamovic (1977) started producing his own music, he used to work with various bands in the period 1995-2001. He began working as C Photon in March 2001. The main idea of the project is to create innovative and challenging electronic music. So far he has produced two LP`s, one EP and one split release. To give you a good idea about his music, here you can download for free C Photon's latest release, Gritty EP, published on Canadian net label Kikapu. Beside these ambient and more experimental works these last years Andrej Imamovic concentrates on more dance floor oriented music, producing and performing as D Liner in regional clubs and music festivals, including EXIT fest (Novi Sad, Serbia), Lift club festival (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Freedom To Creativity! Festival (Zagreb, Croatia). His works could be described as minimal and at times dark electronic music.

Andrej is also running a radio show/ webzine/ net label Oscilator with his friend Greg Pavlov. The music you can hear in this show is contemporary electronic music and ranges from idm, electro and disco to minimal house and techno. Show is now broadcast on BH radio 1, national (state-wide public) radio station.
